WebAPK availability
Published Updated
WebAPK is the mechanism Chrome on Android uses to install a PWA as an Android app with its own package identity, splash screen, and deep-link registration; Chrome requests the APK from Google’s minting server at install time. It is a platform feature of Chrome on Android rather than a web API with cross-browser support.
The table has one row, verified from Chrome Platform Status, because no BCD or caniuse dataset covers WebAPK.
