Badging API browser support
Published
The Badging API sets a badge, either a count or a plain dot, on the icon of an installed web app through navigator.setAppBadge() and removes it with navigator.clearAppBadge().
The table covers the Badging API as recorded in MDN browser-compat-data. Where a badge is shown only for installed apps, depends on the launcher, or is tied to notification permission, the row footnote states the condition.
