Versions
Section titled “Versions”Each major and minor version has a frozen page. Factual errors found later appear on that page as
dated errata. The table lists SHA-256 checksums for the Markdown files served from this site. Use
shasum -a 256 to reproduce them.

Version policy
Section titled “Version policy”The version number identifies what changed between two citations.

| Major (2.0) | Adds, removes, renames, or redefines a layer or evidence class, or withdraws a principle. Allowing a measurement to change a support row’s status would change principle P8 and require a major version. |
| Minor (1.1) | Adds a principle, boundary case, or display rule, or replaces examples. |
| Patch (1.0.1) | Changes wording, typos, or links on /about/evidence/ only. It adds no erratum to a frozen page because no citable content changes. |
Major and minor versions have frozen addresses in the form /about/evidence/v<major>.<minor>/.
Version 1.0 is at /about/evidence/v1.0/.
